Q1 2015 Version 6.9 was reeased We developed and released V6.9 which containes free KPI library.
We are continuing on more improvements to V6.9.
Q2 2014 Version 7 Developemt was stopped in March 2014. The Global Financial Crisis has resulted in very poor software sales for us.
Hence we do no thave the funds to spend on V7 until the GFC is over.
Q1 2013 Continue developing Version 6.6 as per customer requests.
Proceed to Software Release stage with V7.1
We have responded to customer requests for improvements, enhancements and bug fixs with V6 and have released V6.6
We expect to release V7.1 in 2013 Q1. This has been delayed by the world GFC and recession.
Because we have maintained our pricing at record low levels the GFC has reduced our revenue.
Q1 2012 Overcome the effect of the EEC based GFC where some countries are defaulting on their loans and causing an economic downturn based on the worries of a domino effect of loan defaulters.

Overcome the negative effects of Google Penguin.

Obtain Code Signing from Comodo and complain strongly to Microsoft regarding the SmartScreen Filter in IE9.

As a result of IE9 Smart Screen Filter we now ask that users do NOT use IE9 to download our software.
Instead they should use one of the many other Internet Browsers that are available.
The two main ones are of course Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
We mostly use Firefox ourselves as it is vendor independant.
Software sales world wide have been hit hard by the recession caused by the EEC financial crisis. Currently companies are only spending money that is totally essential for their survival.

Also Google released their Penguin system with a new method for calculating the organic ranking of websites which resulted on our ranking dropping which has afffected out sales.
We are currently working hard to re-establish our rating as number one in the categories, Strategy Map Software and Balanced Scorecard Software.

Following that Microsoft released their IE9 with it's SmartScreen Filter.
The object of this seems to be to prevent people from downloading and installing software on the Internet and we can only conclude that this is a weak attempt to increase their existing shop-based sales channel.
So the end effect of this was to effectively prevent users from downloading and installing Internet software.
The adverse function of SmartScreen Filter have now eased and it is possible to install Internet software using IE9, however Microsoft would still prefer if you purchased their software through the retail channel rather than buying somebody else's software on the Internet.

Our software is now digitally signed which assures users that we are who we say we are as Comodo do intensive checkss on our validity.
Q3 2011 We continue to work full time on rewriting our software with the intention of releasing V7 in Q1 2012.
Our Objective is to provide the best, fastest and most reliable code that we can.
To understand this you need to realise that all software is improved and is made better in reponse to user and market requests.
However as enhancements are made the software ages because the original concepts are either down-graded, changed or removed.

Hence we are taking the time to make all the code as perfect as possible and it is imporant to realise that very few software packages have the luxury of doing this.
So we are realigning all the internal code concepts to reflect the current product form whilst adding in some additional facilties such as a Checkbox Compliance Monthly grid which was requested by customers wanting to keep track of contractors so this can be visible as gauges throughout their Balanced Scorecard and Strategy Map.

We regard this software realignment as an essential step in providing the 3 overlays that almost every customer needs:
1. Website Generation in different forms. 2. Password Access Control. 3. Multi language capability.
Q2 2011 V7 of our software continues with a new 64 bit compatible database design, a Language module and Web Client Software We have been asked many times to provide a language module for the software and this will be done when the V7 software has stabilised. The language module will allow users and resellers to convert the standard phrases used in the software into a different language.

A web-based system will also be written which will work concurrently with the Version 7 system, so users will be able to use either the Web based system or the current Windows Forms based system, both connected to the same database.
Q1-Q2 2011 V5 of our software required firther enhancements and we ran out of version numbers.
Hence the V5 series overflowed onto V6 and the new B6 system with the new database structure will be called V7.

Q2-Q4 2010 Write and release Version 5.x series With the end of the V5 series our software has reached it's final product form, and our focus will be on providing more reliable and faster software, however we will stil be very interested in customer requests.
Q2 2010 Write and release Version 4.9 We are currently working on Version 4.9 to include more of our proposed V5 features.
We hope to release this at the end of April 2009 with 10 major improvements to the software made in response to customer requests.
This will be the end of the version 4 series.
Q1 2010 Write and release Version 4.8 Further improvements and more action on customer requests were made when releasing this version in February 2010.
Features that were previously scheduled for Version 5 have been included here as V5 has been delayed.
Q4 2009 Write and release Version 4.7 We have had a number of customer requests to make improvements and this new version will provide some of these.
June/July 2009 Proceed with Creating more Training videos including the creation of your own Strategic Picture (Strategy Map and Statements). The video tutorials will be of great benefit to everybody in gaining an understanding of how our software and the K&N Balanced Scorecard process operates.
Each video will be between 3 and 12 minutes long, to reduce the download time.
August 2009 Create Improved Strategic Plan examples to be included in our software download. The examples that we currently supply are of a poor quality or are outdated. Many people rely in these examples to teach them how to create their own Strategic Plan.
August 2009 Return to the software development system to do more testing and fix any issues found. There will always be errors in the software as users will always find a use that was not allowed for.
Hence it is impossible to test everything and we reply on reports of problems from customers.
September 2009 Begin the process of creating version 5 of our software to include additional features.
This is expected to take two months to complete.
V5 will have a new database structure and hence it will need to install as a different product so that existing data is not lost.
We will provide backwards compatibility with V4 XML export so that everyone can transfer their Strategic Plans into the new version.
After V5 is done Create a read-only web client version of our software. It is essential that a the Strategic Plan be viewed over the Internet.
Changing the data over the internet is however a big security issue because if an invader got hold of it they could destroy your operations.
In addition to this the interface available using Internet Explorer is insufficient to construct a professional Strategic Plan.
after V5 is done Create a link to MS Project. It is good having somebody running around the organization fixing everything, but the details are on their own computer and so nobody knows what is happening.
It this could be imported into a Strategic Plan then it can be aligned with the Strategic Objectives and become visible to other people.
V5 Requirements Re-design the database structure to normalise facilities that have been added since V3 and fitted into the Spare columns.
Allow for password usage and Objective cascading.
Look at adding an aggregated "output" column to the grids and Strategy Map which would work in parallel with the Gauge column and be derived from the Monthly Grid values.
We never change the database structure between major versions and if an extra feature is required we use spare table columns.
The database structure needs to be enlarged and spare column space re-established.
Language Conversion Our Korean Reseller Decision Science Co has requested that we provide a lanugage conversion facility for standard terms and labels used in the software. We will look at doing this in September with Version 5.
